The Ritz-Carlton hotels in Asia-Pacific have announced Smile Asia Week from May 4 – 10, 2015 to sell specially created limited edition cakes across Asia. The campaign is to raise funds and awareness for the children suffering cleft and other facial deformities. Charity partner is The Smile Mission – a medical charity that heals children’s smiles through its dedicated medical volunteers.
Some 10,000 ladies and gentlemen of The Ritz-Carlton from 20 hotels will bake 15,000 specially crafted cakes that will result in 500 life-changing surgeries to the poor and needy children across Asia.
The Ritz-Carlton Hotels of Indonesia have selected a popular yet charming combination of chocolate and banana. The limited edition cake pays homage to what many consider the country’s national fruit and has been designed to appeal to all tastes, making it the perfect celebration cake.
Whatever the nature of your event that you are celebrating – a get-together with your family and friends to celebrate a special occasion, Mother’s Day, a birthday or an anniversary, simply purchase a cake to help bring back a smile.
